A New York Day in Pictures

Conclusions after (this trip’s) first full day in New York: Guggenheim is awesome, Kandinsky had it going on, Knitty City remains awesome, and there is more delicious food available than one person can reasonably consume. But then, I suppose, I knew that already. Still, confirmation is always a plus, right? Right. On with Day Two.

I bet our cream tea down ‘ere in Cornwall is better :-p Especially with Tregothnan tea…

But yes, New York looks like a nice place. Shame it takes flying to get there from where I am!

I wish I could go to NYC soon just for the Kandinsky exhibit. Food, knitting, and interesting art sounds like a great combination.

Where did you have that delicious looking tea? That looked amazing! And despite having lived in NYC for 43 years (moved out 7 years ago) I have never been to that yarn shop. It’s definitely on my list of places to go when I’m next in NYC.

  12. I adored Knitty City when i was there in 07. Glad to see it’s still going strong.

  13. Hello,

I love the stockinette scarf you made in the round showcasing purples, burgundies and green out of Ultra Alpaca. The colors are great!

Do you by any chance still have the shade numbers? I live in the Seattle area and would like to use the same colors in a different pattern.

    Happy New Year!
