Azalea (for the Sweet Sheep May 2010) [updated Feb 15/2011]
Instructions for “Twist 3 Right” (in Pattern Notes) should read as follows:
Twist 3 Right: Slip 1 st to cn and hold in back.
K2, p1 held on cn.
Instructions for the Cuff should be worked in 2.5mm needles, changing to 2.75mm for the Hand.
[Feb 15/2010] Set-up rows a and b from the chart are only worked once.
[May 8/2010] Instructions for Hand should read as follows (corrections in bold):
Change to 2.75mm/larger needle size. Rearrange stitches so that last 2 sts of round appear at beginning of round, and that the first 30 sts total appear on Needle 1. (Needle 1 begins and ends with p2, in this arrangement).
Next round: K1, p1, work Main Chart pattern (above), beginning on setup row a, over next 26 sts, p1, k1. K rem 22 sts, and increase 4 sts evenly across them. This establishes the cable pattern on the back of the hand (across 30 sts), and plain stockinette stitch (across 26 sts) on the palm of the hand. (56 sts total.)
Next 3 rounds: work even, continuing in pattern as established in previous round, working Main Chart pattern for row b, then Row 1, then Row 2.
From this point forward the Main Chart repeats over 16 rows.
At this point, follow instructions for Right or Left Mitt.
